Hi! My name is Sarah and I am currently in my second year of naturopathic college at the University of Bridgeport. I originate from Westchester, NY and graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelors of Science in nutrition and dietetics. I have dual citizenship with the United States and the United Kingdom and for the first year of my college experience, I went to the University of Newcastle in the United Kingdom and played on the university’s tennis team. However, after a year of being overseas, I decided to transfer back and continue my university education in the warm state of Florida. I am grateful and honored to now be on the path to becoming a naturopathic physician.
When I am not at school or the Center of Excellence, I enjoy a variety of hobbies including powerlifting, tennis and cooking. I also enjoy reading about the microbiome, genetics and how they come together to connect with our health and wellbeing. I have a public instagram called zara_health, were I share nutrition facts, wellness and fitness information.
In the future, I plan to move to California and pursue a career as a physician specializing in pediatrics. I plan to become proficient with Dr. D’Adamo’s genetics and microbiome software and use it as a tool for helping the younger generation live healthy lives and prevent illness. I also plan on further advancing my coding skills to help both doctors and patients and be a part of the effort to expand the naturopathic medical field.
